Our attitude towards climbing is the biggest influence on both the experiences that we have while we are out there and the memories that we take back home. My personal attitude towards mountaineering can be summarized as follows:

Freedom plays a crucial role for me in the mountains. Being able to enjoy the moment, feeling that what I am doing is exactly the right thing is of prime interest to me. Team spirit is a necessary prerequisite, appreciation and communication at eye level are indispensable - open and honest. On my search for adventure i like the confrontation with myself. As a sportsman I like to test my limits - lofty objectives get achieved by commitment and healthy ambition. Associated risks have to be considered and weighed thoroughly against the individual background of expertise, skills, and knowledge. My desire for safety examines every decision on the way. Because one thing is for sure; I always want to get back home safe and sound!
